Who we are

Kentucky Forward, Inc. ("Kentucky Forward," "we," "us") is a Kentucky-based political organization operating a 501(c)(4) advocacy entity and an affiliated political action committee, Kentucky Forward PAC. This policy applies to both entities and to kentuckyforward.org and any subdomain or service we operate.

Information we collect

• You give us: name, email, phone, address, employer, occupation, donation amounts, RSVP details, volunteer skills, and free-text messages you send through our forms.
• Automatically: IP address, device type, browser, pages viewed, referring URL, and basic analytics events.
• From third parties: publicly available voter file data, donor records from public disclosures, and information you have provided to allied organizations who share with us under their own policies.

How we use it

To process and acknowledge donations, RSVP you to events, send newsletters and action alerts, coordinate volunteer activity, comply with campaign-finance reporting obligations, prevent fraud, and improve our programs.

Disclosure required by law

Contributions to Kentucky Forward PAC above the reporting threshold are publicly disclosed on filings with the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance and, when applicable, the Federal Election Commission. We are required by law to publish your name, address, employer, and occupation for itemized contributions. We cannot remove this information from public reports once filed.

When we share

We share data with vendors who help us operate (payment processors, email and SMS providers, analytics, hosting), with allied progressive organizations and campaigns when consistent with our mission, and as required by law or court order. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from email at the bottom of any message.
• Reply STOP to any text message to opt out.
• Email privacy@kentuckyforward.org to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you (subject to legal retention requirements).

Children

Our services are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
