How we endorse

An endorsement from Kentucky Forward is not automatic. We look at the same things in every race:

  • Alignment. The candidate's positions line up with our platform on jobs, schools, healthcare, and elections Kentuckians can trust.
  • Viability. There is a real, evidence-backed path to winning the seat — district history, turnout, and a credible plan.
  • Organization. A functioning campaign: a budget, a field plan, and the discipline to run it through Election Day.
  • Roots. A genuine connection to the community the candidate wants to represent.
