Accessibility statement

Kentucky Forward is committed to making our digital presence usable by every Kentuckian, including people with disabilities. We design and build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our internal standard.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML, descriptive headings, and ARIA where appropriate.
  • Color combinations tested for contrast, with non-color cues for state.
  • Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements.
  • Alt text on meaningful images; decorative imagery marked as such.
  • Captions or transcripts for video content where feasible.
